One of favorite movies of all time...THE BEACH staring Leonardo Di Caprio is just perfect in my book. I think there was one summer I saw it like 5-6 times...written by Alex Garland and directed by Danny Boyle who did Trainspotting, it boasts an island adventure story like no other. Filmed in Thailand, the scenery is breathtaking, imagine being there! Well def gotta go there someday...till then these next two movies will also fit the bill for all out island fantasies...
