MAIN FEATURE

Lately I have been obsessed about ever changing beauty of "feature walls." As any house may tell the signs of its rightful owner, so too the feature walls of their home. This maybe the only area of a home where a disarray of books, objects and various curiosities all come together and somehow artfully harmonize with each other. More importantly, its also gives a quick synopsis of its owner and their particular interests both past, present and perhaps even the future. It acts like a museum or gallery installation ever so art directed yet so utilitarian. Its storage that needs to be seen. A beautiful object d'art or a travel souvenir, perhaps a childhood photo, or even a first edition book, now out of print. Its an open treasure chest full of sentimental values, something that keeps you grounded and "well-versed." Its storage and display without the cramping or suffocation. Just remember to make it personal and all yours...
