Loving these oversize teak and pine bowls at the moment. The first one was a recent purchase from this store called From the Source in Chelsea. Its solid teak and is hand carved in Indonesia. Really a great value and so damn gorgeous! The second are new items from Pottery Barn, and were first used in baking bread in the early 20Th century in Hungary and other Eastern European countries. Both make great sculptural storage pieces for magazines, towels, shells, candles and fruits. Love the rustic quality to them as they work both in modern settings or eccentric ones...
